VAR Channel Business Development Executive – US Federal

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to build AMD’s business across our complete EPYC Server and RYZEN client portfolios in direct partnership with our targeted VAR channel partners focused on selling to the US Federal agencies. In this partner facing role, this top-tier leader must successfully manage a variety of strategic Server OEM and Channel relationships with a strong ability to influence senior level management and develop, cultivate and close a pipeline of end user opportunities.

  • Proven success in comparable roles, developing strong Datacenter VAR partner and customer relationships which have led to sales success
  • Comfortable presenting to different audiences; partners, customers and business executives
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time

 

Key Responsibilities:

Main Focus:

  • Build and cultivate direct relationships with select colleagues at all levels of our Datacenter VAR channel partners from Account Management up to Executive Leadership
  • Develop, grow and manage a pipeline of end user sales opportunities in partnership with strategic Server OEM/channel colleagues

General Focus:

  • Promote AMD products and technologies
  • Deliver AMD unit and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic Server & Client OEM partners to align GTM programs and goals
  • Acquire and analyze sales reporting to recognize trends and steer financial and human resources to improve growth and return on investment
  • Work in collaboration with AMD and Server & Client OEM partner colleagues to develop quarterly marketing plans aligned to sales targets
  • Provide internal feedback to help build the accurate marketing collateral and sales tools vital to educate the Datacenter VAR channel on the benefits of partnering with and selling AMD-based products and solutions

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong historical interaction and relationships with targeted US Federal VAR channel partners and strategic Server OEMs (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Lenovo, Supermicro, etc) and Client OEMs (HPI, Lenovo, etc)
  • An established background in technology business development/sales, focused on server/datacenter

 

Academic Credentials:

Degree or equivalent experience

 

Location:

Eastern US, Washington D.C. area preferred
