  • Extrapolate the performance of certain HPC benchmarks to greater node/core counts
  • Provide technical assistance to the sales team for responding to HPC RFPs
  • Evaluate new hardware and assist AMD engineering teams in collecting data to improve future products
  • Benchmark HPC codes on competitive systems

Additional expectations for the team leader:

This position requires an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language) and a good balance of hardware, system architecture and software expertise. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to independently manage multiple priorities to deliver results on time, and to build and maintain an engaged and productive team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, electrical engineering preferred, physics, applied mathematics)
  • At least 10 years experience directly working in High Performance Computing applications
  • Solid understanding of HPC system architecture at the node, rack and cluster level
