Sr. Finance Analyst 

The role:

The senior financial analyst is a meaningful role in the success of the business. This role will partner with Computing and Graphics (CG) business unit staff to provide financial analysis (e.g. profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) to influence decisions that enable the business to optimally plan and deliver results.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a result driven approach, high sense of partnership, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement operational improvements including automation, business process simplification, and efficiency improvements to improve the quality and accuracy of financial forecasting and reporting
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (including finance, accounting, supply chain, and operations to drive the financial consolidation process for the Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and quarterly financial forecast including revenue, margin, operating expenses, and inventory
  • Analyze trends within the business and ensures alignment with business and corporate-wide objectives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business unit and provide financial analysis to recommend the best methods for achieving objectives
  • Prepare accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end close in addition to financial reporting for both external reporting and operational reviews
  • Execute updates to deliverables in real-time within a fast-paced environment
  • Efficiently deliver Ad Hoc analysis, reporting, and projects on request
  • Follow all internal controls, regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, security standards in accordance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements

Preferred experience:

  • Finance professional with validated experience in a multinational, high tech environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skill is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Financial concepts and general understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Excellent understanding of/or skills with financial planning & reporting systems. SAP experience is preferable. Data mining and database leadership skills would be useful.

Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
