Commercial Marketing Manager- Lead Nurture and Email Marketing

THE ROLE:

The AMD Data Center Segment Marketing team seeks a B2B marketing professional to drive digital pipeline at all levels of the funnel for AMD’s data center solutions powered by AMD EPYC™ processors and AMD Instinct™ accelerators. This role will evolve our commercial marketing automation programs and build compelling stories in email marketing campaigns to raise awareness and generate demand within target enterprise and channel accounts around the world. Primary activities will include A/B testing, handling contact databases, lead generation and qualification, content evaluation, crafting and executing email campaigns, and reporting key results. The candidate will also support a variety of critical ad hoc marketing activities like product launches, OEM co-marketing campaign planning, and mar-tech improvements. This is a cross-functional and collaborative position working closely with the global business unit, product marketing, regional marketing teams, OEM marketing, and worldwide sales leaders and peer organizations within worldwide marketing. The ideal candidate will be innovative and a strong leader who brings passion and insight to our commercial data center business!

The person:

The ideal candidate can take the lead and be a quick learner, is highly organized, and can influence others up and down the organizational structure with strong interpersonal skills. He or she should be experienced in creatively solving B2B digital marketing problems, orchestrating customer-centric email campaigns, and using standard marketing methodologies to optimally navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced job environment. Key responsibilities:

  • Own data center email marketing campaigns end-to-end, driving contact acquisition and top/mid funnel digital pipeline globally across target accounts
  • Coordinate and optimize marketing automation, lead nurture, and lead scoring/grading processes
  • Conduct A/B testing and recommend program optimization
  • Collaborate closely with GTM Marketing, Business Unit, Legal, Product Marketing, and Sales to run Data Center end user database and communications in alignment with business goals
  • Supervise performance, drive metrics, and report on return on investment & key performance indicators
  • Monitor and action Sales feedback on marketing generated leads in Salesforce
  • Become the subject matter authority for colleagues and partners

Preferred experience:

  • Multi-year business-to-business marketing experience in high-tech or similar industries
  • Multi-year experience running enterprise lead nurture campaigns
  • Proven working experience in persona marketing, evaluating and recommending types of content to effectively communicate key messages across the various stages of the buyer’s journey
  • Strong background in marketing fundamentals and marcom
  • Experience partnering with sales, the business unit, field marketing, and external agencies
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and storytelling ability
  • A consistent track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget
  • Detailed understanding of current marketing practices, digital platforms, and trends
  • Experience using market research and market data to develop marketing strategies and programs
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks optimally
  • Experience with basic copy writing and digital asset creation
  • Ability to prioritize results, prepare slides, and present lessons learned
  • Familiarity with the Adobe suite, Pardot (or comparable), and Salesforce CRM

Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
