BIOS Test Continuous Integration Lead


AMD is searching for a dynamic, self-motivated candidate to join our Server Software Quality Assurance team to take our firmware continuous integration testing to the next level.



  • Planning, designing, developing and testing automated firmware continuous integration and smoke testing, automation infrastructure and firmware test cases
  • Provide technical leadership in the development of firmware test scripts and automation infrastructure using CI/CD tools
  • Closely interact with BIOS firmware developers and ASIC Design team in new feature definition and bring up for future product generation
  • Improve customer satisfaction and product quality by increasing BIOS firmware test coverage and efficiency.
  • Accountable on time deliverables
  • Involves collaboration on or assuming the consultative or leadership responsibilities for a specific project or for product development initiatives
  • Is required to deal with internal groups on behalf of the group or project.
  • Has accountability for results in a particular area of work



  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, groovy) and computer programming languages (C, C++, X86 assembly)
  • Experience with Git client source code repository operations (commit, cloning, branching, etc.)
  •  Intimate knowledge of software development process methodology expected
  • Solid knowledge of creating and executing software/firmware test plans targeting Linux or Windows environments
  • Solid knowledge of software development under Microsoft Windows and Linux is a plus



BS in Computer Science or related field + 5-7 years of directly related experience or Masters in Computer Science or related field + 3-5 years of directly related experience
