The Role:

 

This role is a key position within the AMD Server and Embedded Business Operations team. The individual will help the Director of Business Operations manage the operations team.  Beyond daily management, the successful candidate will drive definition and implementation of business processes to improve the efficiency and reporting capabilities of the team.  Significant exposure to executive team requires ability to clearly and succinctly articulate status of business.  The candidate will also act as a critical linkage to Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain organizations. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly deliverables of the business operations team
  • Establish and maintain effective tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and team deliverables
  • Ownership of monthly operation forecasts and sales and operations plans
  • Inventory management of multiple product lines
  • Lead strategic initiatives to drive business process improvements to increase operational efficiency

 

 

Preferred experience:

  • Minimum 5yrs in operations role in semiconductor field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience presenting to executive management
  • Reporting and modeling software expertise (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, power point)
  • Highly analytical, with a good sense of accounting concepts
  • Comfortable in navigating a fast-paced constantly changing environment, while successfully managing towards KPI
  • Previous management experience

Academic credentials:

 

Masters or PhD degree required
