Server Business Operations -Project/Program Manager 

 

The Role:

The Business Operations - Project/Program Manager will play a key role within the AMD Server Business Unit. This individual will be part of a high performance and dynamic team providing support for all Business unit operations including developing critical business processes, tools, improving overall team efficiency; product lifecycle management; and business planning. REQUIRES an understanding of Semiconductor Forecast, planning, and Supply Chain issues

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Monthly Operating Forecast (MOF), including cross-functional team and executive reviews
  • Own the Supply and Operations Plan (S&OP), including cross-functional team and executive reviews
  • Establish and maintain effective tracking processes for the organization's KPI's and deliverables, requirements for success, and drive closure of critical gaps and escalations
  • Lead strategic initiatives to drive process improvements and address organizational efficiencies
  • Build effective working relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels
  • Lead effective executive-level discussions
  • Understanding of Semiconductor manufacturing

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in business planning, finance operations, or business operations management
  • Must have experience developing and implementing new business process aimed at improving organizational efficiency
  • Must enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and have outstanding teamwork skills
  • Must have a passion for innovation, be comfortable defining a way forward in the face of ambiguity, and have the ability to scale and influence broadly
  • Must be able to multitask, show great attention to detail, and build positive influence and relationships at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both to internal and external customers

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Business or Technical degree required, MBA preferred
