The Role

Great opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting time!  This role will be a crucial member of the Business Management leadership team driving transformational projects within AMD's Sales organization.

 

The Person 

The Operational Excellence Lead-Sales Candidate will support the leadership team with business process mapping, executive reporting, organizational budget, and communications responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Mapping for new sales processes and for optimization of existing processes
  • Documenting complex processes and ensuring mapping is complete through interviews and workshops with stakeholders, process owners, and product owners
  • Cross-functional engagement within Sales and across the corporation to drive critical process documentation
  • Create and maintain detailed process maps, RACI grids, and policies & protocols for new and existing processes
  • Facilitate small and larger workshops with SMEs to define business processes, as needed
  • Document change process and update process documentation as changes are implemented
  • Will ramps to define processes, roles, and responsibilities with the overall goal of improving productivity, documentation, and operations
  • Coordinates with key stakeholders to understand how the process reality differs from existing policies, procedures, and protocols and drives towards efficiencies and consistency across the organization
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly executive reporting aligned to standard templates
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process and maintains quarterly tracking of organizational budgets
  • Own organizational SharePoint as a hub for Business Management process and data documentation and communication for use corporate-wide

 

Experience and Education

  • Demonstrated process improvement success on large, complex operational projects
  • Direct experience with mapping business cross-functional business processes in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of and exposure to best practices in the field
  • Experience with M&A process integration is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Operations is a plus
