CHRO Enterprise Business Manager/Chief of Staff

The CHRO Enterprise Business Manager is a key member of AMD’s HR Leadership Team and plays an integral role in managing daily operations. You will serve as a focal point for communication, integration, and activities within the team (HRLT).  Your role will maintain a high-level view of the action, while considering the needs of the organization and managing key deliverables thoughtfully.   In this role, you will handle a wide range of tasks and be a confidant to the Chief HR Officer and his team. It requires a high degree of integrity, judgement, and discretion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with our CHRO and his leadership team to set strategic priorities, define and measure success
  • Build strong relationships with the HRLT members, influence outcomes, and maintain project momentum
  • Oversee large, cross-functional, projects and initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions
  • Lead annual HR strategic planning by acting as a project manager and ensuring alignment with the team
  • Manage annual HR budget
  • Facilitate operational reviews, staff meetings, offsites, etc., ensuring information flow is taking place
  • Partner with the HR communication lead to draft, review and amplify CHRO communications
  • Prepare executive level presentations

 

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Expert level skills with PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word, Outlook
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills
  • Communication with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in Human Resources

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
