THE ROLE:

This is a post silicon AMD CPU system validation role focused on platform level stress content development, execution, and debug.  In this role, commercially available content as well as internally developed synthetic content will be combined with complex server platform configurations in order to validate robust functionality. 

 

THE PERSON:

This candidate should have experience in platform validation, complex IO and memory configuration implementation, platform software, and commercially available workloads.  Furthermore, the candidate should have experience working in multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of system test plans
  • Implementation of test cases
  • Test content development
  • Execution and automation of test cases
  • Monitoring test results
  • Debugging of failures
  • Tracking and reporting status 
  • Ability to network, build relationships and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Prior experience with x86 system design, validation, testing tools, environments, defect tracking, and automation systems.

ACAMEDIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS or MSEE degree.
  • Demonstrated work experience in validation and in particular validation execution in automated environments
