SPSE Chief of Staff / Program Manager


The Role: 
The program manager/chief of staff handles the daily operations of the Server Platform Solutions Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be flexible, proactive, and will demonstrate a high level sense of ownership and follow through. In this role you will provide leadership to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies. You will serve as a focal point across the staff and organization to support key engineering and operational initiatives.  

The Person: 

The candidate should have experience in project management and driving operational & strategic initiatives. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate monthly operations cadence, calendar of events, customer & partner meeting content
  • Work across functions to support key activities like long range planning, work force planning, hiring and AOP management 
  • Partner with Finance, HR and Communications teams to support internal communications 
  • Provide regular status updates and report outs on key projects & initiatives 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in fast-paced, hi-tech industry; Data Center, Server & CPU experience preferred 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills; both written and oral
  • Ability to craft executive level presentations, both internal and external, and tailor the message for the audience
  • Ability to distill detailed information quickly and efficiently into high level messaging & takeaways
  • Ability to work cross functionally and globally 
  • Data analysis, manipulation, and presentation
  • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project Management experience (PMP preferred) 


Academic Credentials:

  • BS-EE or MS-EE - technical field
  • 5+ years experience
