Commercial Inside Sales Executive (ISE) - North America
THE ROLE:
AMD is establishing a Commercial Sales Team of Inside Sales Executives (ISEs) to drive AMD datacenter, cloud, and client commercial sales in the North American region. The ISEs engage with decision makers at IT end-user customers to drive the sales of our best-in-industry AMD EPYC and Ryzen products and services.
Primarily working remotely anywhere in the U.S. or from AMD’s campus in Austin, TX, the role involves proactively driving new business, working remotely with new customers to understand their needs and propose relevant AMD solutions.
This is a highly collaborative position, working with commercial end-user customers, as well as AMD’s regional and global Datacenter/Server and PC Client Device Sales, Channel, Marketing, and Business Unit teams. Occasional travel may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a Territory-based tactical sales approach to increase the volume of engaged accounts and implement the best solutions for our customers and partners
- Actively engage in prospecting discussions with end-user customers, positioning AMD server, cloud, and client solutions in line with their needs
- Take the lead in actively progressing customer sales opportunities through to closure
- Occasionally visit customers to support key accounts and develop relationships
- Manage budget/resources within AMD guidelines
- Manage and update business via Salesforce CRM – on time and accurately
- Evangelize innovation and best-in-class product design to widen the reach of AMD’s Market Share
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven Sales experience, including new customer prospecting experience
- OEM, Reseller, VAR, or Channel experience a strong plus
- Knowledge of datacenter server and commercial PC client solutions a plus
- Experience using Salesforce.com as a CRM tool
- Experience using productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to analyze and present business information
