The Senior Director or Worldwide Sales Strategy is looking for a Commercial Client Sales Strategy & Planning Manager. This role will require a combination of operational experience and business acumen to manage all aspects of a sales organization’s operations that underwrite the performance achievement and predictability that the business requires to hit its targets. In this role you must strike the balance between influencing the desired behaviors across the sales team while enforcing governance and good disciplines when required. This position manages the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various Go to Market strategies and proposing improvements to the business in order to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.  He/she will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers.  The Commercial Sales Strategy & Planning Manager must understand the dynamics of a sales environment and culture of sales people. The successful candidate can conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and reports. 



  • Sales Management:  

    • Own the end-to-end sales cycle planning process for the Commercial Client Sell-Out space 

    • Partner with sales to provide strategic direction on product strategies that are aligned with client KPIs and goals 

    • Evaluate sales trends to drive efficiency in our sales process and business operations 

    • Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for increasing organizational efficiency 

    • Partner with Business Intelligence to develop reporting packages for sales effectiveness and productivity. 

    • Recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed 

    • Orchestrate programs, events, commercial messaging, and sales enablement requirements across sales teams, BUs, commercial marketing, and regional marketing 


  • Pipeline Management & Consumption Forecasting: 

    • Manage/drive the annual/quarterly consumption cycle within the commercial organization 

    • Provide strategic and tactical support on pipeline reviews and sales forecasting, including the accuracy of sales forecasts and pipeline conversion 

    • Collect, analyze, and report data from internal systems and evaluate to assist in the development and evaluation of the sales forecast and budget 


  • Partner Sales Programs:  

    • Oversee the Channel Partner Business Development Sales programs. 

    • Proven experience in developing and successfully executing regional business development plans addressing new partner acquisition and existing partner growth 



  • Experience managing sales automation and CRM systems 

  • Managerial experience, specifically managing sales development teams 

  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations 

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and significant time pressures 

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or other related graduate-level degree is a plus 

  • 15+ yrs experience, preferably in the Commercial SMB space within the Semiconductor industry (but not required)
