Customer Technical Program Manager

THE ROLE:

In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for managing customer engagements with large accounts to deliver GPU-related products and features enabling customer success. 

 

 

THE PERSON

  • Be the primary interface with stakeholders, leadership and external partners to deliver on commitments and manage daily issues and requests from the customer.
  • Establish relationships with the multiple internal organizations to lead and coordinate their deliverables to the customer.
  • Be able to manage multiple parallel projects of broad scope and high complexity
  • Coordinate with sales and business development for the establishment of commitments, then own the execution of delivery.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills with prior experience in stakeholder management across domain architects, domain engineering teams, business development, customers and partners.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans/manages both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology and/or products for external customers.
  • Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program as the ‘voice of the customer’.
  • Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
  • Assess risk and proactively identify issues to define and implement mitigation plans.
  • Monitor progress against schedule, coordinate resources with other functions, and drive the execution to meet customer deliverables.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Product, Program or Engineering Management
  • Advanced understanding of computer architecture, hardware/software development methods and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycles, planning, organizing, schedule and resource management.
  • Knowledge of GPU use-cases in large datacenters
  • Proven track record taking multiple programs from definition to delivery

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS or master’s degree in related field preferred.

Qualifications

Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering field/Master's degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in Product, Program or Engineering Management
  • Advanced understanding of computer architecture, hardware/software development methods and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycles, planning, organizing, schedule and resource management.
  • Knowledge of GPU Use Cases
  • Proven track record taking multiple programs from definition to delivery
