Datacenter GPU Software Program Manager

THE ROLE

In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for managing partner and customer engagements to enable delivery of Machine Learning and High Performance Computing software.   

 

 

THE PERSON

  • Be the primary interface with stakeholders, leadership and external partners to deliver on commitments and manage daily issues and requests from the customer.
  • Establish relationships with the multiple internal organizations to lead and coordinate their deliverables to the customer.
  • Be able to manage multiple parallel projects of broad scope and high complexity
  • Coordinate with sales and business development for the establishment of commitments, then own the execution of delivery.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills with prior experience in stakeholder management across development teams, business teams, customers and partners.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans/manages software projects through the development, qualification, delivery and support phases.
  • Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
  • Assess risk and proactively identify issues to define and implement mitigation plans.
  • Monitor progress against schedule, coordinate resources with other functions, and drive the execution to meet customer deliverables.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in Product, Program or Engineering management
  • Customer-facing experience on multiple projects
  • Advanced understanding of computer architecture, hardware/software development methods and tools
  • Advanced knowledge of software product development lifecycles, planning, organizing, schedule and resource management
  • Knowledge of GPU use-cases in large datacenters
  • Proven track record taking multiple programs from definition to delivery

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • BS or master’s degree in related field preferred.
