Digital Marketer – Gaming Business Segment

 

THE ROLE:

The Digital Marketing Strategy team guides business units, product marketing, customer service, and sales teams on how best to utilize AMD-owned digital platforms and tools to support end customers and the business needs. We work with colleagues around the world and value their input in our work. Our audience is global, and we prioritize ensuring customers see themselves in AMD products and the experiences they enable. We are user experience specialists who stay ahead of digital trends and standard methodologies. Knowledge share with teammates and partners is a crucial part of what we do.

 

The person:

We are looking for someone who will be responsible and highly organized, self-motivated, and prepared to jump in and lead with confidence. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator – willing to share their own knowledge and seek out other subject matter authorities with ease and without ego. They will be able to move projects forward and continue to make progress even without all the answers. They approach their work with a positive demeanor and respect for the diversity of colleagues, collaborators, and customers.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the digital team relationship with key partners in gaming client and graphics, software marketing, and ISV partner teams.
  • Work with internal partners in developing amd.com and email marketing content for AMD gaming products, partners, technologies, and initiatives.
  • Prioritize functional design geared toward accomplishing measurable user interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal resource teams – including designers, developers, content managers, project managers – to execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that drives value and return on investment.
  • Monitor site analytics and content accuracy to meet user needs.
  • Educate internal partners on digital subject matter expertise.

 

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in web or email marketing, campaign management, or related roles
  • Understanding of user interface v. user experience
  • Experience in SEO (site/page level; on/off site), SEM, and site analytics
  • Familiarity with web content management and project management is an asset
  • Experience in working as part of a team and developing a team brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of running multiple large-scale projects
  • Knowledge of PC gaming and streaming, gaming trends, and gaming communities

 

Academic credentials:

BA/BS in a related field preferred
