Job Description

 

  • Establishing and managing AMD’s product gaming strategy
  • Develop core product positioning and messaging for key Gaming products and features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors.
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans to achieve product goals.
  • Build and improve the overall Gaming brand and experience for consumers, frame and track the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities.
  • Subject matter expert who understands the issues that our vendors face on a day-to-day basis and enabling them to become a part of the Ryzen and Radeon ecosystem
  • Represent the voice of the Gaming community among cross-functional teams within the company.
  • Grow consumer and customer awareness, adoption, and usage of AMD Gaming offerings, both CPUs and GPUS and live-streamed gaming video content experiences with Radeon Software.
  • Build content rich, technically accurate and informative decks, blogs, whitepapers, infographics, videos and thought leadership articles
  • Supporting profit, growth and market-share targets by analyzing market intelligence, forecasting market trends, developing strategic initiatives
  • Develop and present quarterly business reviews with customers, partners, and internal managers

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience in marketing new products for semiconductor tech companies
  • Effectiveness and comfort at working independently in a fast-paced, and fluid environment with the ability to adapt, spot issues early, and escalate
  • Balance of creative and analytic mindset, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework
  • Passion for and understanding of gaming technologies globally
  • Ability to construct, implement and coordinate Product Strategies for Gaming product portfolio to drive unit, revenue and ASP growth and underline the premium price position, aligned with consumer entertainment content with focus on Gaming.
  • Ability to plan and forecast gaming growth trends and reporting progress internally within the business units and externally to the Channel and OEM partner
