Director, Product Management

 

The Person:

You have outstanding communication and presentation skills, strong analytical/problem-solving and program management skills.  You are self-directed, a strategic thinker, able to handle complexity and ambiguity.  Finally, you are able to work effectively and manage through influence in a cross-functional/matrixed organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage closely with the Customer, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Legal teams to bring the product to market and to support the product once the product is launched
  • Manage product definition (Cost, Power, Features, Performance, Schedule) in line with business and customer goals
  • Manage the product P&L to maximize revenue and profit margins while ensuring product performs at or better than target
  • Drive Product cost reduction initiatives
  • Work across cross-functional teams as the voice of the customer, routinely collaborating with and influencing colleagues in Business Development, Operations, and Engineering
  • Assist in contract negotiations and change orders requested by the customer

 

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 12 years’ relevant working experience with 5+ years of direct technical customer engineering/customer support
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in silicon process technology or other silicon design/methodology experience
  • Experience managing large customer programs (within time and budget)
  • Procurement/supply chain experience
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience successfully running a P&L
  • Consistent track record of innovation
  • Willing and able to travel (up to 20%) internationally

 

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in relevant field
