Director, Product Management
The Person:
You have outstanding communication and presentation skills, strong analytical/problem-solving and program management skills. You are self-directed, a strategic thinker, able to handle complexity and ambiguity. Finally, you are able to work effectively and manage through influence in a cross-functional/matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with the Customer, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Legal teams to bring the product to market and to support the product once the product is launched
- Manage product definition (Cost, Power, Features, Performance, Schedule) in line with business and customer goals
- Manage the product P&L to maximize revenue and profit margins while ensuring product performs at or better than target
- Drive Product cost reduction initiatives
- Work across cross-functional teams as the voice of the customer, routinely collaborating with and influencing colleagues in Business Development, Operations, and Engineering
- Assist in contract negotiations and change orders requested by the customer
Preferred Experience:
- At least 12 years’ relevant working experience with 5+ years of direct technical customer engineering/customer support
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in silicon process technology or other silicon design/methodology experience
- Experience managing large customer programs (within time and budget)
- Procurement/supply chain experience
- Negotiation experience
- Experience successfully running a P&L
- Consistent track record of innovation
- Willing and able to travel (up to 20%) internationally
Academic Credentials:
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree in relevant field
