Sr. Sales Operations Manager - 73782

 

The Sr. Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the support of assigned Server/Embedded customer targets. Responsibilities include end to end instance timeline ownership, holding other internal groups responsible for hitting those timelines and deliverables.  Also includes engaging with sales team on forecasting volume, mix and revenue; administrating and executing pricing requests and purchase orders; customer issue resolution interacting with finance, sales, BU, engineering and other groups as required. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of sales forecasting, planning, and CRM systems to will bring a strong business process orientation. This position requires strong horizontal leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, a commitment to meet customer satisfaction and AMD's business objectives.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Server/Embedded customer schedule ownership to work with Sales, BU, Engineering and Marketing.
  • EPM Customer Forecast Updates
  • EPM Customer Forecast vs Actual Revenue & Backlog Feedback
  • Provide gap analysis to show week-on-week and month-on-month changes and inventory reductions of material at customer/Distribution
  • Compete Quote Management and overall pricing requests
  • Order management from customer PO to supply fulfillment tracking
  • Communicate supply fulfillment timeline to sales & customer
  • Support material return processes from a customer and financial perspective
  • Report weekly on Customer Activities/Issues
  • Assist Sales in resolving compete quote accrual and claim issues
  • Assist Sales in resolving rev reduction contract accrual and claim issues
  • Assist Sales in resolving Accounts Payable issues
  • Communicate with customer as needed to support sales

  • Open communication style and business presence to work effectively at all levels
  • Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours if needed
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Motivation to sustain high-energy and complex activity levels, in-region and remotely to other regional teams on a world-wide support model
