AMD is searching for an experienced, reliable and task-oriented Executive Assistant to be a critical member of the team. The Executive Assistant will work one-to-one with the executive and must be flexible and organized to meet the demands of our growing organization. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of anticipating needs while managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.   • Manages the Executives calendar. Prioritize appointments as necessary. Coordinates major offsite meetings and Executives travel.
  • Arranges domestic and international travel schedule and reservations. Upon completion of travel, prepare expense reports and ensure submission in a timely fashion
  • Interfaces with various levels of management, customers, and other executive visitors. Redirects inquiries and problems to staff members for response and resolution as necessary. Reviews and answers mail and inquires on own initiative and determines if executive action is required.
  • Exercises judgment and initiative with high degree of flexibility.
  • Independently prepares presentations and formal business communications from rough drafts. Works with outside sources to prepare presentation materials as needed for executive meetings.
  • Sets up and maintains propriety files and record retention schedules.
  • May assign routine word processing, report or presentation preparation or train other clerical/administrative staff.
  • Obtains, assembles and analyzes information and data from a wide variety of sources in order to prepare reports, manuals agendas and correspondence using automated office equipment such as personal computers.
  • Orders and maintains inventory of departmental supplies. Coordinates necessary equipment or facilities repairs or changes.
  • Support the department’s financial processes, including budgets, contracts, purchase orders, payments, vendor relations, etc
  • Anticipate needs of executive with minimal guidance or direction
  • Make note of critical actions in weekly staff meeting and track updates from responsible parties for follow-ups meetings
  • Support hiring – acting as bridge between recruiters and candidates for on-site interviews



  • High school graduate and completion of business/secretarial school or equivalent experience plus 8-10 years of directly related work experience in a complex environment supporting a VP, Corporate VP or Executive VP
  • Ability to use a variety of complex office automation tools and software.
  • Requires ability to interface with various levels of management, customers, and employees to exchange information and take appropriate action.
  • Must balance multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to anticipate needs of VP and not wait to be given instructions.
  • Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to use a variety of complex office automation tools and software, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint.
