THE ROLE:

AMD SCBU Automation team works specifically on developing Validation software tools and scripts to enable AMD latest APU/CPU feature validation. This role offers the opportunity to show off your software programming skill sets.

 

THE PERSON:

A quick learner for new software architecture and technology. Excellent communication skill (both verbal and written), teamwork spirit.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with peers and individuals in design, debug, emulation, software and validation teams to identify validation tool requirements and develop plans and associated review for platform tools strategy.
  • Develop software architecture of solution must be easy to use, scalable and maintainable with key objective of optimizing silicon debug process
  • Design and development of SW tools that will be used in Post Silicon Engineering and Customers environment.
  • Researching and prototyping new software tool solution and includes tests to release/qualify

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Work Experience in C/C++ programming and basic knowledge on scripting languages like Python, Ruby and shell script.
  • Development experience with Linux and Windows Platforms
  • Very good problem-solving skills, team player, constantly up/cross skill on modern technologies
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and JS will be a plus
  • Experience in GUI programming (HTML, CSS, Js/JQuery, Angular/ReactJs) will be a plus
  • Knowledge/Experience in Embedded programming will be a plus
  • Should have good understanding of x86/ARM architecture
