GTM Marketing Specialist – Gaming Solutions and OEM

 

THE ROLE:

The AMD Gaming Solutions Marketing team is looking for a tech-savvy marketing professional to help drive our global marketing campaigns for the Consumer segment with a focus on gaming PCs and laptops powered by AMD Ryzen™ processors, Radeon™ graphics cards, and associated software and technologies.

 

The primary focus of this role is to build and execute end-user and partner campaigns that raise awareness of the AMD brand and drive sell out of AMD powered PCs and laptops.  You will be expected to address each OEM’s needs and represent AMD in front of key partners and customers.

 

Reporting to Senior GTM Marketing Manager, Gaming Solution Marketing, you will work across our portfolio of gaming products and software.  This is a cross-functional and collaborative position, working closely with the global business units, product marketing, regional marketing teams, OEM marketing, worldwide sales leaders, and peer organizations within worldwide marketing.

As a GTM Marketing Specialist on the Gaming Solutions Marketing team, you will lead the creation of marketing campaigns and programs for new AMD Gaming Solutions. You will also lead gaming go-to-market campaigns in partnership with some of AMD’s key OEM partners: Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, MSI, Razer, and Lenovo.  In collaboration with OEMs, you will play an active role in driving campaigns and co-marketing programs that impact the marketing and sales goals for both AMD and the OEMs, focusing on gaming laptops and desktops powered by AMD technologies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee development and implementation of gaming marketing campaigns for the organization, including but not limited to; development of creative assets and working with media agencies on activation plans, ensuring they are effective and designed to support AMD’s business goals
  • Collaborate with AMD Global Account Management teams, Consumer OEM GTM team, and Regional teams to develop custom marketing programs with each OEM, designed to elevate the AMD gaming brand and drive unit sales through various marketing channels (online, email, social, events, retail, training, and more)
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with related processes
  • Measure and assess the effectiveness of implemented programs and campaigns to improve future marketing activities  
  • Manage various marketing related projects as needed

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to function autonomously and comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of the PC and gaming markets
  • Thorough understanding of current marketing strategies, digital platforms, and trends
  • Experience using market research and market data to develop marketing strategies and programs that address challenges and obstacles
  • Proactive, accountable, organized and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills – able to work on multiple on-going projects and prioritize effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and well-structured presentations and deliver verbally to internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Agency (creative and media) management and creative development experience a plus
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • University degree in engineering or marketing
