Global HRIS Senior Manager

 

THE ROLE:

The Global HRIS Sr Manager is a leader as well as hands-on technical expert for HRIS and will help build and execute a technology roadmap that balances the strategic and operational needs of the HR function.   

 

People management

Build and maintain a high performing team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, performance management and resource planning.

Actively participate in all talent management processes to develop and retain talent.

 

HRIS functional leadership

  • Develop HR technology strategy and roadmap to meet HR technology needs of the business and HR function
  • Manage the current HRIS portfolio to ensure operational excellence and optimization of existing technology solutions
  • Lead the analysis of organizational needs as required for long range planning, budgeting, and implementation of technology systems and services
  • Manage the implementation of new functionality including determining stakeholder and business value, requirements gathering, testing, roll-out and end user training and adoption
  • Implement HR systems governance, including change control process and SaaS upgrades
  • Lead collaborative interlock meetings with HR COEs to ensure HR technology solutions are meeting their needs 
  • Establish and enforce implementation protocols, policies, procedures, documentation and quality metrics
  • Identify and recommend areas for process and/or cost improvements Ensure compliance with all data privacy and HR data security policies and procedures; Ensure compliance with S-Ox and all audit requirements
  • Partner with the IT Organization to effectively manage HR systems including interfaces with other core business systems, such as payroll
  • Manage HR technology vendor relationships to ensure the services meet our needs and provides excellent value
  • Coach, mentor and provide direction to HRIS team to optimize technology investments
  • Build capability within global HRIS team to achieve HR operational excellence and improve quality
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement; be bold in driving change

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Expertise on HRMS, SAP HCM or similar, with deep understanding of systems core business processes and integrations
  • Functional HRIS knowledge including talent, recruiting, performance management and learning
  • Proven experience in leading global systems implementations
  • Experienced people leader
  • Demonstrated project management
  • Lead and manage change effectively
  • Able to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Able to communicate technical content to non-technical audiences in a way that is relevant and easy to understand

PREFERRED ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS Degree within Business/ IT / MIS or related field
  • Post Graduate degree / MBA preferred
