IP Systems Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a new graduate that is an innovator and hardworking Engineer to join our team! This Engineer will be joining the Silicon Support team to work on developing SerDes IP in deep subicorn processes. Also, work with Pre and Post Silicon design teams along with Platform, ATE, Characterization and FW teams. Someone with the ability to work in a fast pace environment and able to thrive on new challenges.

The Person:

We seek enthusiastic innovators wo collaborate well with a variety of teams! Good teamwork and communication skills, strong analytical/problem solving, statistical analysis, attention to details, and able to work independently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • new product bring-up support
  • assist in debug of issues
  • develop/contribute to diagnostic framework including FW for IP training, margining, and debug
  • improve automation/testing capabilities


Preferred Experience:

  • Python and/or Perl programming knowledge
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS as well as Windows
  • Lab experience with oscilloscopes, volt meters, logic analyzers, etc
  • High-speed I/O SerDes design knowledge, understanding of CDR, bandgaps, PLLs and DLLs
  • Solid understanding of basic computer architecture.


Academic Credentials:

  • A BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering
