Infrastructure Security Analyst

 

THE ROLE:

The Infrastructure Security Analyst will provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise with vulnerabilities, remediation and prevention, security control, and end point security. He/she will work with cross functional teams to drive deployment to secure end point and data center compute.

 

THE PERSON:

As a technical expert and influencer in IT infrastructure organization, you will help to transform the IT infrastructure security with your vision--influencing others with your thought leadership, closely collaborate with information security organization, and to drive transformation. Your high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) enables you to successfully influence others and drive change at all levels. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define end points and data center compute vulnerabilities remediation strategy, roadmap and drive for change
  • Partner with information security team, business partner, IT teams, , vendors, support organizations, functional architects to drive vulnerabilities remediation security initiative from inception to production implementation.
  • Collaborate with end user support, application, and infrastructure architects and be responsible for the defining-designing-delivering of the technical security architectures, patterns, technical quality, risks, fitness for purpose and operability of technical security architecture solutions.
  • Lead technical presentations demonstrating in depth understanding of architecture of endpoint and server compute and security practices for these two areas
  • Be a leader and mentor to operation team; be able to hand on and lead by example.
  • Be able to hand-on deploying, troubleshooting, and solving the technical issues; own the problem and drive for resolution

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Senior/Advanced level experience in end-point compute, data center, and cloud on vulnerabilities remediation and platform security hardening
  • Expert understanding of operating systems internal and hardening (Window client OS, Window Server OS, Linux) in the physical, virtual and cloud platform
  • Hands-on Experience in Policy Configuration Management related tool sets (Qualys, SCCM, etc) to manage vulnerabilities
  • Ability to write rules, policies and exclusions for endpoint devices (Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Mobile devices), integrate endpoint security tools with analytics, monitoring and compliance tools
  • automation and shell scripting experience
  • Prior experience in improve large scale vulnerability resolution process
  • Prior experience in managing infrastructure security response and preventive actions
  • Prior experience in managing trade-off between cybersecurity risk vs business requirements

 

Desirable:

  • Cybersecurity relevant certification
  • Good understanding data privacy requirements, network topology, load balancing, network segmentation, and DevSecOps basis.
