Product Definition & SLT:

Position includes cross-functional requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, and deployment of product definitions to maximize yield while meeting product demand.  It also includes developing internal System Level Test (SLT) platforms to ensure overall compatibility, compliance, and test coverage by developing product specific test hardware, software and diagnostics. Applicant should be familiar with statistical analysis, modern microprocessor architecture, semi-conductor physics and manufacturing, and power/performance analysis and correlation.

 

Includes:

  • Analysis of ATE and SLT characterization data
  • Developing SLT test programs and releasing to factory for high volume manufacturing
  • Power and performance correlation study and analysis
  • Debug of miscorrelations and outliers to improve study accuracy
  • Providing fab targeting recommendations to improve product distribution
  • Building power models based on characterization data to define new OPNs

 

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS EE or equivalent
  • 5 years or more industry experience
  • Strong communication skills including data presentation
  • Data analysis skills/tools:  pareto, statistical analysis, JMP (or equivalent)
  • Windows and Unix proficiency
  • Familiar with Linux or Unix Operating Systems.
  • Semiconductor fabrication knowledge
  • Semiconductor device physics knowledge
  • Modern computer architecture knowledge
  • ATE or SLT experience preferred
  • Experience w/ PC hardware debug including networking, storage, and thermal control
  • Familiar with general Computer Architecture concepts such as pipelining and caching, x86 architecture, and PC computer organization
  • Experience with logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script, or similar
