Manager, Finance

THE ROLE:

The Manager, Finance is responsible for leading the financial planning & analysis activities for the Client Business Unit engineering teams and the accounting and close activities for the Client finance team.  This role will partner extensively with CVPs and their respective staffs to provide the financial support required by operational leadership to effectively plan their business and deliver results. 

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate should be a self-starter with a “results driven” approach, high sense of teamwork, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-moving environment.  The candidate should have a CPA and mix of external audit experience in a large public accounting firm and industry experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the annual budget and quarterly financial forecast process for Operating Expenses, Headcount, and Capital
• Provide direct financial support to Client Business Unit Engineering VP’s
• Prepare and present financial and operational results and support external reporting
• Engage with cross-functional teams (including legal, sales, and HR) to develop and execute on strategic business initiatives to improve productivity and financial outcomes
• Work closely with the with business teams to influence the development of future business arrangements for acceptable financial terms and conditions
• Develop effective systems and procedures for the group's financial reporting.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting to conclude on critical accounting matters including the drafting of accounting memos
• Follow all internal controls, regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, security standards in accordance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Finance and/or accounting professional with 10+ years of experience in a multinational, high tech environment
• Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams
• Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
