The Position

The MNC Sr. Sales Manager will drive sales and grow market share of AMD products.  They will develop and lead the MNC sell-in team and field resources.  He/she will be responsible for establishing the AMD sell-in strategy, partnerships and approach to drive customer relationships, deliver platform and revenue growth.  Building a strong team and operational leadership skills are key to success in this role.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Sell-In strategies and quality account plans that grow revenue and market share for all AMD products
  • Own all client and graphics design-in activities with the customer across all functions (Product Group, Procurement, CTO, Engineering)
  • Assess, mentor and grow MNC sales team to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Implement robust sales/technical support process and structure
  • Develop cross-division partnerships to establish synergistic solutions for MNC customers
  • Orchestrate programs, messaging, and sales enablement requirements across sales teams (BUs, Regions and Marketing)
  • Drive pricing negotiations and forecasts with the customer and internal BU teams
  • Foster relationships with management/IC level contacts for the account

  
The Person

The MNC Sr. Sales Manager will ideally have the following experience:
 

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, building and leading winning teams for at least 5 years
  • Strategic Experience: Understanding of CPU and GPU products, MNC customer and markets
  • Partner Experience: Strong historical relationships and success influencing large MNC organizations
  • Organizational Experience: Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-matrix atmosphere
  • Expert sales knowledge in relevant product categories with 10+ years of proven technology sales experience in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in developing and successfully executing design-in and sales plans

 

The MNC Sr. Sales Manager should demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Open communication style and presence to work effectively at Executive level

  • Broad leadership skills with ability to motivate, mentor and retain top talent – positive leadership style
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire longerrange strategic vision and planning capabilities

     

The MNC Sr. Sales Manager educational requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline
