Marketing Director, Sales & Partner Enablement


The Digital Marketing organization is looking for an experienced Sales/Partner Enablement Director to grow the existing digital partner enablement ecosystem and accelerate a growing digital sales enablement program.


The person:

This a phenomenal fit for an experienced director with both digital experience and a passion for understanding the needs of partner and sales teams, to build programs which better enable them to sell AMD. Are you the person we are looking for?


Key responsibilities:

Partner Enablement

  • Lead all aspects of the partner enablement strategy through the use of a well-rounded, localized portfolio of marketing vehicles – inclusive of digital, communications, webinars, & training
  • Develop/implement/lead audience generation initiatives via a targeted approach – inclusive of SEM, SEO, social promotion, & partner co-marketing
  • Coordinate creation and execution of partner communications for global business segments – and drive cross-vehicle engagement across various partner enablement resources
  • Be responsible for the creation and execution of monthly webinars across all global business segments
  • Develop/implement/supervise a gamified partner training program
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure strategic alignment across the overall partner enablement program
  • Drive continuous optimization through feedback, metrics, and analytics – ensuring an outstanding experience with resources which deliver relevant, positive, return on investment


Sales Enablement

  • Drive executive alignment across regions and business segments to deliver the right message to sales – and lead all aspects of delivery of that message through implementation of monthly alignment calls for global business segments
  • Develop/implement/be responsible for a measurable sales training program which supports all product segments and directly aligns with the achievement of strategic sales objectives
  • Find opportunities to continuously improve sales training tactics and incorporate innovative techniques for content delivery and consumption
  • Develop/implement/lead all aspects of a sales training strategy to ramp new hires
  • Supervise the content, structure, delivery, and reporting within our Sales Resource Center, to ensure sales and marketing can bring to bear the latest, most relevant, resources


Preferred experience:

  • Significant experience in the digital and/or sales and partner enablement space
  • Management of a 10+ person team, helping develop future leaders
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience using general MarTech platforms (e.g., Webinars, CMS, etc.)
  • Outstanding communicator with the ability to make complex concepts simple. In addition to working with sales and partners, you may be presenting to the AMD executive leadership team as well


Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required; MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
