Campaign Manager, Commercial Client



The Global Commercial Go to Market (GTM) team is responsible for defining the strategy and marketing programs that support key objectives and executing them for the Commercial Segment. From campaigns to targeted media buys, we drive full-funnel, audience centric initiatives that support our Commercial Client business. This role will be responsible for supporting AMD-led marketing campaigns, including but not limited to scope and budget alignment working alongside the GTM Segment lead, creative brief development, messaging, production and activation plans that drive awareness and consideration of PCs and Workstations powered by AMD.


The person:

We are a growing team looking for a tech marketer to support the development of effective commercial marketing campaigns for the fastest growing processor brand in the world. You put the customer first and are not afraid to ask questions or roll-up your sleeves to seek the next task. You build trust with key partners and approach each conversation grounded in data and results. You are the champion of "perfect execution" and support the creative process from briefing to production, including translation, release, and activation. We are looking for creative problem solving and accountability, and a continuous improvement mentality He or she be responsible and highly organized, self-motived to meet challenging timelines, and prepared to jump in and lead. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator with a keen eye for detail, able to move and continue to make progress even without all the answers.


Key responsibilities:

  • Help execute the global go-to-market strategy that supports key business priorities.
  • Handle campaign development and execution of multiple campaigns targeted to a variety of audiences across content production, digital development, content syndication and activation (execution).
  • Develop activation plans in partnership with worldwide marketing partners such as digital marketing, social, PR, .com, OEM marketing and/or Channel/System Integrators, with the ability to communicate in a timely and comprehensive way (multi-touch point customer approach).
  • Support regional initiatives or requests to ensure alignment with global campaign strategy and brand guidelines as well as regional nuances.
  • Oversee the localization process for assets and campaign deliverables.
  • Follow-up on approval process with the legal team.
  • Responsible for asset deployment, campaign launch schedules and reporting in partnership with the GTM leads.
  • Work closely with creative services that includes both internal and external agencies.
  • Develop and analyze campaign performance metrics to drive future marketing decisions and optimize global campaign strategy.


Preferred experience:

  • Agency management and creative production experience with a top technology brand
  • 5+ years of relevant GTM/Advertising/Marketing experience
  • Business-to-business experience and knowledge of the OEM business
  • A self-starter with ability to work independently and with a team
  • Track record of bringing end user insights and research into effective campaigns and messaging
  • Top-notch communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate technical value proposition while steering to a customer-centric approach.
  • Skilled in all MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)


Academic credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, MBA a plus
