PARTNER MARKETING MANAGER, CONSUMER

 

THE ROLE:

The Global Consumer OEM Marketing team is responsible for defining the strategy, priorities and marketing programs that support co-marketing efforts with OEM partners. The team works with stakeholders internally and externally, aligning to business priorities and building co-marketing strategy, elevating awareness, consideration, and demand of Consumer PCs powered by AMD. This role will be responsible for supporting our joint go to market programs with a top OEM partner, Dell, and supporting key marketing programs across all OEM partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the marketing and alliance partner relationship with Dell

· Develop and manage WW co-marketing funds and program terms; Communicate strategies and fund guidelines to regions and own WW plan roll-ups

· Ensure integration of AMD's key value propositions, messaging, branding and nomenclature in Dell led content and co-marketing materials

· Work and collaborate in lockstep with Sales and Regional teams to drive co-marketing programs designed to drive demand and sales velocity through several channels including digital, retail, training, events and more

· Be the primary interface representing Dell within AMD’s internal marketing forums to drive the partner needs internally and be the primary marketing interface directly with Dell representing AMD

· Ensure that Dell is represented in AMD’s marketing efforts (product launches, website, etc.) and lead execution of launch activities of key platforms

· Be knowledgeable about the dynamics of the partners organization to understand their goals, pain points and opportunities to better enhance AMD’s marketing effectiveness & integration within partner campaigns

· Build links within regional marketing to enable strong relationships in region

· Drive digital presence on OEM.com by working closely with OEM Marketers and Sales to drive brand compliance, content integration and AMD site placements; Develop monthly dashboards and review audit reports to gain insights and support the regional teams with data

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

· 8+ years of relevant marketing experience in a global or regional role

· Experience in partner marketing at an OEM is preferred

· Strong background in marketing fundamentals, including budget and contract management

· Experience working in a global, matrixed organization

· Understanding of current marketing strategies, digital platforms, and trends

· Excellent presentation and communication ability, written (presentation) and verbal

· Track record of managing metrics, reporting, and extracting relevant insights

· Experience in product launches and launch readiness a plus

· Skilled in all MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
