The role:

The Customer Product Marketing Manager will work with internal cross-functional teams and one or more OEMs in helping to drive marketing initiatives and optimizing our business development processes to allow for maximum penetration of our OEM AMD EPYC based servers. Work tightly with the AMD Global account team to manage priorities and implement marketing programs that impact AMD’s and OEM’s marketing and sales plans.

The person:

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, organization and preparedness to jump in, execute and deliver results with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate activities across remote teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Business Process Management to optimize customer contracts, customer seeding and sample plans.
  • Align AMD planning cycles with OEM’s timelines and drive AMD brand and value proposition within OEM led content.
  • Extend AMD’s reach through increased strategic co-marketing initiatives designed to drive demand.
  • Work with AMD’s teams and with OEM to measure the effectiveness of programs and be able to apply learnings for future programs
  • Prioritize, allocate, manage, execute, and track partner marketing funds to support activities with high value and revenue impact
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional internal and partner teams on spending plans, track and report execution status, and ensure partner adherence to AMD marketing operations guidelines.
  • Drive engagement and relationship with strategic partners to improve their customer experience
  • Generate quarterly marketing campaign/activity Calendar and the coordination of its associated activities
  • Be a strong advocate for the customer internally!

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in the computing industry, at the OEM, ODM, or technology provider in marketing (preferred)
  • Skilled in engaging customers, partners and in managing joint initiatives
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and partnering with decision-makers
  • Strong written, verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent project planning and project management skills with ability to multi-task and handle simultaneous project
