OEM Business Operations Director- 77869

 

THE ROLE:

As the OEM Business Operations Director, you will be both the operational conductor and process architect of the OEM Client business.  Whether it’s OEM design win, product pricing development, marketing content creation, or, you will review processes in place, look for opportunities to improve, then work alongside the team to implement those improvements.  As our business has scaled in size, our processes need to scale appropriately as well.  Your role will have the backing and support of the General Manager of the Client OEM business.

 

THE PERSON:

 

The ideal candidate will have exceptional time-management and organizational skills, allowing them to handle multiple ongoing projects/initiatives. Additionally, they will have the ability to quickly create effective strategies with imperfect or insufficient datasets.

It is important that he or she utilizes executive-level presentation and communication skills daily.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborative assessment of existing business processes within the OEM Client business segment directors (consumer, commercial, gaming, etc)
  • Identification of process gaps and needs for improvement
  • Process mapping, gaining peer buy-in, and improvement implementation in a timely manner
  • Maintain dashboards tracking critical business processes
  • Lead the major operation interlock forums and drive outcomes and follow-up
  • Ensure alignment between finance and segment owners on functional budgets
  • Pitch in on specific business segment challenges where leadership may be required (e.g., critical design win)

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in a High-Tech industry (semiconductor, PC, mobile devices, etc.)
  • 5+ years in a Senior Program Management or Process Management role

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS and/or MS degree in Engineering or Business Management
  • MBA is a plus
