Sr. Business Planning Manager - 84161

The Role:

We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate portions of the business planning, financial analysis, OEM funding, market share tracking, and supply/inventory management processes. In alignment with OEM BU segment leaders and account teams, you will build strategies and plans that lead to gains in market share and product gross margin, and optimally communicate these plans to executive management and peer organizations (finance, supply chain, sales). You will be reporting to the OEM Client Business Planning Director.

 

The Person:

You will have worked in a fast-paced business planning or strategy role (high tech preferred) providing financial analysis, P&L management, coming with a mastery of Microsoft Excel and if you are an MBA graduate that would be a strong plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of organizational goals and how OEM client can impact those goals
  • Documentation of business plans, including volume, mix, revenue, margin, and market share
  • Supervising cost, funding, pricing, and product gross margins to ensure business is tracking to deliver gross margin goals.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive view and understanding of funding and affordability
  • Supporting creation of Monthly Operations Forecast (MOF) for business unit. Coordinate across accounts, BU segments, Supply, and Finance to ensure a sound business plan that meets critical financial objectives and balances new product development timelines, product transitions, and supply chain constraints.
  • Developing and running financial models to enable quick scenario planning. Bridge between the business unit and supporting finance teams.
  • Analyzing markets, building business cases, developing pricing strategies, and building product transition strategies.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Pre-existing understanding of the PC market, with an emphasis on OEM PC makers
  • Outstanding time-management with ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives
  • Ability to quickly develop recommendations with imperfect or insufficient datasets
  • Strong organizational work across a large org. and get things done
  • Executive-level presentation and communication skills - ability to speak with confidence

 

Academic Credentials:

MBA Preferred but not mandatory.
