THE ROLE:
The AMD Product Security Office (PSO) is looking for an experienced program director to lead Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) program management and overall PSO logistics, project planning, executive status for PSO engineering efforts, and engagement with customers and ecosystem partners.

 

THE PERSON:

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about cyber security and drive continuous innovation and features to evolve AMD’s Security response. You are a proven leader, are able to create and maintain a working cross functional team and manage in a matrixed environment. You have exceptional communication skills and the ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within an organization.

 

You are highly organized, able to prioritize and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines.  You have the ability to structure and execute complex analysis, draw insights, and communicate summary findings/recommendations to senior management and AMD customers. You also possess outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AMD Security Platform
  • Drive solutions to address security vulnerabilities through the platform stack
  • Organize Inter-Company Security Roadmap & Platform promotion & roadmap interaction with various business unit ASIC product owners
  • Enhance AMD’s reputation through the Security customer experience with a strong focus on customer platform adoption of secure solutions
  • Understand and continuously analyze security competitive landscape and the latest technology trends
  • Tailor the roles of each core team member according to the needs of the program including defining cross functional ownership, and managing effective performance of the core team, and managing the membership to achieve program objectives
  • Coordinate with legal, engineering, PR, and executives the overall messaging of status/issues to key internal/ external stakeholders and customers
  • As primary technical liaison to the customer, manage customer messaging on issues/errata to Customer Engineering team.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in chipset and platform security market, and associated technologies
  • 10+ years of incident response experience
  • Advanced technology market & product management expertise with a track record of success within the industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of security technology IP industry standards (ESF, NISTO, RACGP, TCG, other)
  • Significant development and management of and 3rd party partner ecosystem programs

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Undergraduate degree in related discipline
