Education/Experience:

- Pursuing an Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related degree

 

Skills:

- Good understanding of computer architecture

- Computer Performance Benchmarking Experience

- Strong understanding of board layout and schematics

- Highly capable at Assembling Computer hardware, Installing Operating Systems, Installing Software, Microsoft Excel

- Extensive laboratory experience, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.

- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail

- Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for post-silicon activities related to performance measurement and analysis for CPU/GPU products. The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume:

- Developing and executing performance characterization test plans for new computer processors

- Analyzing interactions between various performance features/settings and optimizing their configurations.

- Setting up test systems for automated test framework.

- Analyzing performance results and writing reports.
