Product Definition Lead 



The Data Center Power Performance Attainment team develops and maintains final specifications for the GPU product family suite. This would include Performance characterization and optimization, Benchmark testing for product definition comprising of HW/FW features, power-voltage-frequency curve, guardbands and final yield.



This person would have a past history of being a self-starter with excellent communication skills, highly motivated with a product orientated mindset, ability to multitask and delegate appropriately, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity




  • Deliver the product definition for AMD’s Machine Learning Accelerator products
  • Product first mindset to deliver the best value in terms of power and performance to AMD's customers
  • Engage with design, product and validation teams during pre-silicon planning, post-silicon bring-up, product definition, product validation and production ramp
  • Expert understanding of device physics and processor voltage and frequency behavior. 
  • Strong experience working with power management features such as AVFS, DVFS, P-states etc.
  • Involved in the pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the design
  • Lead planning activities and process improvements to improve time to market 



  • Prior experience with Machine learning accelerators and/or Graphics Processing Units
  • Knowledge across high-speed digital design, analog design, high-speed serdes like PCIe, XGMI.
  • Analog or Mixed-signal characterization experience is a strong plus.
  • Driving cross-functional initiatives with end-to-end ownership is a strong plus.



  • BS. in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience
