Program Manager (NPI Hardware Planner) - 162501


The Program Manager (NPI Hardware Planner) is responsible for ensuring supply to support the launch of new products. This role requires NPI PCBA as well as full system integration preparedness coordination across multiple business units, accuracy of supply plans for NPI products, and initiative-taking inventory management. The planner will align supply and demand, manage capacity constraints and support builds.

The Person:

The role necessitates advanced analytical and critical thinking skills. The NPI Planner will work collaboratively with multiple business functions in a team environment.



  • Hardware Planning
  • Be able to convert the HW requirement into Board components and sub-components monthly based on demand and previously ordered qty
  • Work closely with factories, Procurement and Board Ops team to summarize the needs and be able to highlight risks
  • Analyze supply-demand matching, based on MRP system, to determine root cause changes, shortages, and surpluses, and identify and drive course corrections.
  • Articulate supply and material readiness status at meetings with key internal customers
  • Interface with AMD Program Management to maintain alignment and awareness regarding hardware schedule support.



  • Experience in a fast-paced semiconductor company
  • Experience with PCB components and manufacturing planning with NPI contract manufacturers
  • Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Advanced Supply Chain analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management
  • Experience with part data management (PDM) and material requirement planning (MRP) systems
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Meticulous
  • Strong adaptability to dynamic situations
  • Comfortable working in a challenging environment
  • Executive level presentation skills.
  • Schedule driven
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Collaborative



Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering preferred
