Title : Program Manager


The Role : The Silicon Validation Group at AMD is seeking a Program Manager with a technical Design or Silicon Validation background. You will work directly with Directors and Managers to ensure high-quality, timely IP silicon validation and production release. The IP is used in all AMD SoC’s to provide I/O and connectivity with AMD products.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive post-Si activities
  • Build plans for IP validation execution
  • Establish deliverable requirements, milestones, and metrics
  • Supervise execution progress
  • Settle and align schedules with peer groups and internal customers
  • Implement change control and issue management processes
  • Coordinate with SOC, platform, and ATE validation teams on plans and execution
  • Provide status and issue updates to internal managers and program leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned

Preferred Experience & Skill sets :

  • Knowledge of tools of the trade; Office365, issue ticket systems, web-based collaborative tools
  • Knowledge or background in SoC microarchitecture
  • Familiar with high-speed I/O technologies and protocols
  • IP or SOC design or validation would be ideal


 Education - Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering, PMP Certification is a plus
