Program Manager- Microsoft Security Co-engineering

 

The Role

The Radeon Technology Group is looking for an experienced program manager to help to drive Security co-engineering with Microsoft and AMD’s leading Windows PC OEM partners with the focus on enabling Windows Security features for multiple AMD products.

 

The Person

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about driving technology enablement, security technologies and drive continuous innovation and features to evolve AMD’s Windows Security ecosystem. You must have solid knowledge of technical program management, and a track record of delivering sophisticated cross-functional technology programs. Must have good technical depth to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and partners. The position requires a highly collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills and ability to present to and engage with stakeholders and leaders at multiple levels.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute on strategy and roadmap for the AMD Security technologies and help to drive co-engineering efforts with Microsoft and OEM partners in the field of platform security
  • This position focuses on all aspects of the lifecycle of Windows Security features such as Secured-Core PC in different AMD products, from pre-silicon planning and bring-up readiness to component builds, validation, production release and OEM enablement
  • Strong technical program management of various cross-functional teams, influencing and supervising the overall Secured-Core PC ecosystem workflow, and forging positive relationships with various teams within and outside of AMD.
  • A passion for crafting plans and working with a team with varied strengths of development engineers, program managers and product managers is required for this highly visible role.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills will be called upon frequently, especially in delivering streamlined, clear, and concise information to cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Proficient Project & Program Management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible working schedule to manage global program execution team (Asia and North America emphasis)
  • PMP certification, Agile development or certification is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and ecosystem, security technologies, semiconductor industry, platform firmware are highly desired.

 

Academic Credentials

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
