Program Manager to Chief of Staff, Commercial Sales

 

The Role:

The Chief of Staff to the Global VP of Commercial Sales is looking for a “right hand” to support rolling out key programs and supporting sales operations. In this hands-on role, you will be integral in driving business results by closely partnering with sales leaders and sales operations teams around the globe. You will achieve this by working proactively on key business and operational processes initiatives with a focus on continued improvement aimed at improving the efficiency of the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationship with team members across the organization in order to influence outcomes and maintain project momentum.
  • Support the Chief of Staff in critical planning, projects and initiatives.
  • Build presentations and reports for executive consumption.
  • Engage and consistently prepare sales leaders for internal and external priority programs.
  • Manage day-to-day action items, tracking and reporting to ensure a closed loop of priority work.
  • Review the team’s processes and operations, helping to ensure the right levels of operational rigor required to operate seamlessly and drive growth.
  • Build reports and analyze weekly data against key performance metrics (financial, operational, and market related).
  • Coordinate inputs and prepare presentations for quarterly business reviews and other important business meetings in a regular cadence.
  • Consolidate data for annual long range and financial planning with the leadership team, ensuring accuracy of inputs across the teams.
  • Collaborate with sales executive assistants to ensure timely planning for and calendaring of strategic events and meetings.
  • Plan and drive business reviews, staff meetings, offsites and other key meetings.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience in a combination of operations, strategy or business management roles
  • Recent and detailed experience in the hi-tech industry a plus
  • Demonstrated project and program leadership success
  • Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects at a given time with successful results
  • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and in data manipulation, analysis and presentation

 

Academic Credentials:

Undergraduate degree, PMP desirable
