<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Person:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are seeking a dynamic and hardworking Engineer who will have the opportunity to work on our APU/CPU power management architecture, features, and implementation, as well as, develop positive relationships with program decision makers across our local and global organizations. This person will demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills at all levels.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Key Responsibilities:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Power System Lead Engineer will optimize the power attainment solutions for our Semi Custom APU/CPU products including working with our System Architects to set and achieve power attainment objectives.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">In this role, you will be responsible for technical collaboration with multiple functions to enable and optimize power management for our Semi-Custom products while directing the unit tests, integration, optimization, and validation of all power management features.

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide feedback and improvement ideas to the various teams, including the power management architecture, IP, SoC, O/S, FW, and silicon enablement teams
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicate frequent status updates and reports to multi-level partners including an executive-level audience
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Serve as point of escalation for any of the functional teams involved and resolve technical and resource challenges and hurdles

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Preferred Experience:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are looking for an End-to-End Power Systems Lead Engineer with validated experience in semiconductor, hardware and/or firmware development to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This Engineer will have experience such as:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in product development with hardware platforms and software ecosystem. Specific experience in X86, ARM, GPU solutions preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Business savvy; able to think strategically and make intelligent technical vs business trade-off recommendations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix, technical organization

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Academic Credentials:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Masters Degree preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">10 - 15+ years of relevant industry experience
