Digital Marketing Manager

THE ROLE:

The primary objective of the Sales Tools Manager is to create the content needed to sell AMD products and deliver it in the format best suited for internal AMD sales teams and external partner teams, including OEMs, VARs, e-tail, and retail sales associates. This role will partner with Sales and Partner Enablement instructional designers, Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, and Sales Teams to take existing product content, provision it in the voice of sales,’ and produce sales and partner enablement materials. These sales tools will complement the training modules being designed by the Enablement teams instructional designers and will leverage the existing content to provide key sales information such as OEM-specific content, product positioning, competitive information, overcoming objections, and more. In addition to creating discrete sales tools, this role will create a scalable sales tools program that provides consistency from segment to segment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the content, design, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement of field equipping tools such as How to Sell guides, Quick Reference Guides, FAQs, and Battlecards.
  • Collaborate with Segment Marketing teams to understand their campaigns and assets and create sales tools that arm the field with the information needed to take action with the sales accepted leads (SAL) the campaigns generate.
  • Work with Product Marketing to provision BU content for sales consumption and package it in bite-size, snackable sales-ready tools.
  • Join in conversations between Sales Teams and Product Marketing to ensure the right tools are created at the right time, localized appropriately, and are updated as new information is received.
  • Management of budget, schedule, and production of the sales tools, working with the AMD Studio, Legal, and outside agency partners as needed.
  • Measure the sales tools program, provide monthly metrics on tool adoption and effectiveness; provide quarterly metrics by segment.
  • Standardize sales assets across all product segments to create templates that anyone inside AMD can use to build sales tools.
  • Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Ensure field equipping program plans align with the product strategy.
  • Help establish a consultative partnership with segments that create their own field equipping tools.
  • Plan and conduct meetings: agendas, meeting notes, and logistics when necessary.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • A blend of client-side and marketing/ad agency experience managing multiple stakeholders, accounts, and deliverables
  • Knowledge of Sales and/or Partner Enablement field equipping tool development and best practices
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience managing sales and marketing programs and tactics for B2B high tech companies
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
