Sales Operations Manager- 73346


The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the support of assigned sales accounts or business areas.  The successful candidate will have a knowledge of sales forecasting, planning and CRM systems and will bring a strong business process orientation. The position requires strong horizontal leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and AMD's business objectives.


Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Sales Region Managers and Account Managers, to achieve financial objectives
  • Region/Customer forecast updates using forecasting systems
  • Forecast vs Actual Revenue & Backlog Attainment Analysis
  • Price Quote Management and support for pricing requests
  • Order management from customer PO to supply fulfillment tracking
  • Report weekly on customer activities/issues
  • Assist Sales in calculating pricing/rebate accruals into their net revenue attainment
  • Cross departmental communication/presentation skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of CRM (SFDC), SAP and Microsoft systems & tools.
  • Solid knowledge of order placement and fulfillment as well as an understanding of the financial and related applications.
  • Key analytical, finance and business acumen
  • Collaborate with Sales region managers and account managers, to achieve financial objectives
  • Open communication style and presence to work effectively at all levels
  • Honest and trustworthy in dealings with internal/external customers, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Motivation to sustain high-energy and complex activity levels, in-region and remotely to other regional teams on a world-wide support model
