Sales Operations Manager

 

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to be responsible for the dedicated operations support of HP Inc within the AMD Sales Organization. The primary functions of the role include managing supply related inquiries, revenue/financial planning, and short/long range demand/supply forecasting.

-Knowledge of forecasting, demand/supply matching, managing customer expectations, and solid analytical/excel skills 

-Strong horizontal leadership skills, the ability to communicate both externally/internally with all levels of the organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cross functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Business Units, and Finance to provide Operations support including supply/financial planning and pricing execution
  • Primary work with customer contacts on supply inquiries, expedites, logistics support, etc.
  • Represent the ‘voice of the customer’ internally and drive resolution/closure on open requests
  • Establish positive relationships with customers and internal cross functional teams to drive process improvement
  • Drive operational excellence by enhancing automated tools to streamline data management and reporting
  • Own/manage weekly analysis for revenue attainment management
    • Track billings and backlog against forecast and annual operating plan
    • Review the customers forecast upsides/downsides highlight any changes that may require support to meet changing demand
    • Provide recommendations with detailed analysis and areas of opportunity

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years working experience
  • Customer facing experience/background
  • Proven knowledge of end-to-end order placement/fulfillment/execution process as well as an understanding of the financial and related applications.
  • Strong excel skills on pivots, vlookup, shortcuts, etc
  • Good working knowledge of CRM (SFDC) & SAP
  • Key analytical and business acumen
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
