Sales Operations Specialist


The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to join the MNC Sales leadership team to set demand planning strategy and execution for a growing, multi-billion-dollar business. AMD is a performance leader and has been on a dramatic growth trajectory for the past several years and for the foreseeable future. Come join our team! A successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to synthesize large amounts of data to provide key recommendations, model demand, supply, inventory, and financial scenarios, and have clear confident executive communication skills. Candidates will have experience and/or knowledge of the microprocessor industry, financial analysis, demand/supply planning, operations management, strong excel skills, desired skills in Salesforce and PowerBI interface.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key internal and strategic relationships with the account operations teams and Client and Graphics business unit planning teams
  • Manage week to week supply planning and customer alignment
  • Manage customer prioritizations, gap analysis, corrective actions
  • Billing/Backlog analysis and coverage
  • Recommendations of cross customer demand shaping
  • Inventory analysis and weekly inventory update


Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in Operations role in semiconductor field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience presenting to executive management a plus
  • Reporting and modeling software expertise (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint)
  • Highly analytical, with a good sense of finance and accounting concepts
  • Comfortable in navigating a fast-paced constantly changing environment, while successfully managing towards Key Performance Indicators


Academic Credentials:

BS and/or MS degree in Business Management or Finance or equivalent professional qualification and real-world application
