Position & Role:

This is a lead ATE Test engineering position working on AMD's cutting-edge microprocessors for Client's high end desktop and workstation product space.

The role includes individual contributor work as well as leadership across a test team.

A Test Engineer to support and lead the team as well as liaise with Design, Product and Quality Engineering.


The Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong pre/post silicon abilities including understanding product IP, developing characterization test plans, developing software and hardware infrastructure to execute those plans.
  • A problem solver with strong leadership & communication skills including data presentation. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-silicon Test planning & validation, engagement with Design.
  • Pre/post-silicon supporting pattern development, developing test solutions to debug, verify and characterize.
  • Part of team that evaluates new silicon designs and process technologies.
  • Monitors and ensures team priorities/tasks are on track.
  • Ensure quality and cost-of-test meet product goals.
    Preferred Experience:
  • New Product Introduction experience in semiconductor Test Engineering.
  • ATE Test Experience, Agilent 93K preferred.
  • Understanding of DFT and HSIO and DFT testing.
  • Experience in hardware design for wafer sort and final test solutions.
  • Experience with ATE program integration.
  • Experience with revision control (GIT, SVN, CVS or similar).
  • Experience in AGILE,  Kanban or Scrum.
  • Experience with a scripting language (Perl, Ruby, shell script, or similar).
  • Unix and Windows proficiency.
