Senior Manager, Business Operations & Customer Analytics

The Role:

The Senior Manager reports to AMD Business Operations and is responsible for driving S&OP analytics and Customer Survey implementation and analytics.  This operational role is also responsible for capturing the "voice of the customer" across multiple dimensions.  She/he will leverage input from customers, sales operations, supply chain, BU, etc. to present a holistic customer centric view to the C-suite and BU leaders. The Person:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated leader with a clear understanding of the operations of semiconductor product development lifecycles, manufacturing processes, inclusive of sales forecasting and other key inputs for successful Sales & Operational Planning key processes. She/he will be responsible for executing on a formal Customer Survey.

 

Key Responsibilities:

S&OP adherence and analytics  

  • Responsible for ensuring S&OP processes in place to manage across multiple Business Units, Supply chain
  • Partner with Global Operations to ensure a comprehensive & transparent view into supplying the BU demand.
  • Continually integrate input from Sales Ops and BU’s to ensure execution to plan
  • Communicate overall supply chain impacts to Executive & BU leadership
  • Readout monthly to AMD Executive Team

 

Implement Customer Survey / Customer Analytics

  • Work with vendor on implementation of customer survey in collaboration with CSO and BU teams
  • Collate and present customer engagement levels/scores/analytics to corporate leadership.
  • Program manage an action plan based on survey results
  • Recommend modifications / improvements aimed at driving customer engagement and adoption of AMD products and services.
  • Readout monthly to AMD Executive Team

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Expertise in semiconductor operations to include significant supply chain experience
  • Experience in direct customer advocacy programs and engagement in post-sales support, or equivalent experience in high tech, project management or related functions.
  • Understanding of Net Promoter Score and the ability to partner with internal constituencies to develop a deeper customer engagement survey
  • Organizational agility – the ability to maneuver inside of AMD to accomplish multifaceted objectives across BU, Global Ops, Marketing, and Business Operations

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering, business, or related field; Master’s preferred
