Senior Product Manager, Client Gaming

The Role:

The Senior Product Manager plays a key role within the Client BU, responsible for end-to-end product strategy, planning and management for the Client Gaming Business Unit including financial analysis and forecasting, program and lifecycle management, product planning and strategy. This role will include leading all aspects of client gaming portfolio, develop strategy and the value proposition.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in driving sophisticated projects within a cross functional team environment. You will work with diverse groups in different locations and drive consensus, be a motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly develop relationships and bring a new perspective and experiences to add to the existing organization. Lastly, we need a Do-what-it-takes demeanor responsible for collateral to accelerate AMD’s OEM gaming business and that has an unshakable Passion for PC gaming.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product management and market development and subsequent accountability for product definition and business model development.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on solutions roadmap and direction.
  • Utilize technical information from internal and external sources to develop advantaged product roadmap with differentiated features.
  • Work closely with AMD Engineering teams to improve product performance, innovation, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop value proposition content to help accelerate growth in gaming market
  • Build and maintain a roadmap of products, solutions, improvements, and offerings that will lead to improved market competitiveness and ultimate growth.
  • Work with Marketing group to align product strategy to appropriate markets for optimum solutions messaging
  • Develop, manage and help grown gaming portfolio with OEM partners


Preferred Experience:

  • prior experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Business Development
  • Experience working with CPU, discrete GPUs and/or integrated GPUs
  • Proven customer advocate. Deep experience in collecting voice of customer.
  • Strong market and industry knowledge and experience for gaming PCs
  • Experience developing products and solutions for global consumer markets
  • Demonstrable experience with market analysis and technology road-mapping
  • Proven track record of innovation


Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer technology equivalent required.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience required
