Senior Product Manager, End User Experiences - 94423

The Role:

The Senior Product Manager position plays a key role within the CG Solutions group, responsible for end-to-end strategy, planning, implementation and management of end-user experiences for our AMD Advantage solutions. This role will include being responsible for solutions experiences across gaming clients, cloud-gaming, software, components, and peripherals while working directly with AMD customers.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in driving complex projects within a cross functional team environment. We are looking for a ‘fuser’, someone who can work with diverse groups in different locations and bring together consensus.

A motivated self-starter with a Do-What-It Takes attitude and the ability to quickly develop relationships is key. This team’s mandate is exciting, but new. In this role you must have a sense of urgency and drive, no matter the task. You are used to working independently, but also work collaboratively with various levels and organization functions. Polished communication skills and ability to handle multiple challenging priorities are a critical requirement for this highly clear role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product management and market development and subsequent accountability for product definition and business model development.
  • Provide market analysis and recommendations on solutions roadmap and direction.
  • Utilize technical information from internal and external sources to develop advantaged product roadmap with differentiated features.
  • Work closely with AMD Engineering teams to maximize product performance, innovation, and competitive positioning.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap of products, solutions, improvements, and offerings that will lead to improved market competitiveness and ultimate growth.
  • Identify market trends and potential partner or acquisition targets to improve capabilities and products
  • Work closely with Marketing group to align product strategy to appropriate markets for optimum solutions messaging

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Business Development
  • Minimum of 8 years total semiconductor proven experience
  • Experience working with CPU, discrete GPUs and/or integrated GPUs
  • Proven customer advocate. Deep experience in collecting voice of customer.
  • Strong market and industry knowledge and experience for gaming PCs
  • Experience developing products and solutions for global consumer markets
  • Demonstrable experience with market analysis and technology road-mapping
  • Proven track record of innovation

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelors degree in computer technology related field required.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
